Welcome! I am Mrs. Petite and this will be my third year teaching! I taught 2nd grade for two years and this coming up year I will be teaching 4th grade! I graduated from the Art Institute of Washington with a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts in 2006. After graduating, I worked as an Interior Designer for a few years. Although I loved it, when I moved to Texas in 2008, I decided to pursue my passion for teaching. I have since then received my teaching certification. I am currently working toward a Master’s Degree in Reading from Texas A&M University. I live here in Corpus Christi, TX with my husband Jim, and step-son Tommy, and our dogs, Brittney, Mia, and Buckeye - I love pets, they’re like my other children. :)
